Review: Coraline is a creepy story about a girl who figures out that she can go into another dimension and have adventures there. The scary thing is there is another mother and another father there exactly like her parents at home. The only difference is that they pay tons of attention to her. And they want her to be their little girl. I thought this book was well written and really good. I also saw the movie on Saturday and thought it went really well with the book. I actually listened to a podcast where Neil wanted the book to have the movie be totally different from the book. Another thing I learned from that podcast is that Coraline was actually being made into a movie before it was even published. They have been working on the movie since 2001. Anyway the book was really good!

i recommend this book if you like creepy books, alternate dimensions, Neil Gaiman, and children novels.
